Kamala Harris
Kamala Devi Harris was born October 20 1964. She is an American politician. She is also the first female vice-president and the highest-ranking female official of the United American. As a member of the Democratic Party, she was the attorney general of California in 2011-2017 and a United States senator representing California from 2017 to 2021. Harris was born in Oakland. Harris received her law degree from Howard University. Her professional career started in the Alameda County District Attorney's Office. Harris was later promoted to the San Francisco District Attorney's Office. In 2003 she was appointed district attorney of San Francisco. In 2010 she was appointed Attorney General of California and was re-elected in 2014. Harris was the junior United States Senator from California between 2017 until 2021. Harris beat Loretta Santiago in the 2016 Senate election and became the second African American woman to serve in the Congress, and the first South Asian American American to be elected to the United States Senate. Harris was a senator who worked for healthcare and federal de-scheduling cannabis. A path to citizenship for immigrants who are not legally recognized.
